Hand tied extensions need to be moved up every 8 weeks. Move up appointments can be booked as stand alone appointments or combined with color services.

What’s the difference between IBE® and other “invisible” methods?
IBE® was created with the health of the client’s scalp and hair at the top of our list. We create a unique track that focuses on flexibility and equal weight distribution. Our track is durable and is easily maintained due to the continuous track. We believe that minimal points of contact equal maximum points of damage. Unlike other traditional beaded weft methods, with IBE® there is no contact of a bead with the scalp at any time. Because of that, as well as our focus on proper tension, IBE® is a much more comfortable extension experience for guests.With IBE®, our focus is on the precision of stitching and beadwork which allows for a longer time in between move ups.
Is IBE® the same as hand tied extensions?
Hand-tied extensions is the TYPE of weft used; IBE®is the method.
How often do I need to get my extensions moved up?
We recommend your first move up at 7 weeks. At that time, your stylist will evaluate your grow out and determine if you can go longer in between appointments. On average, most women get their rows reinstalled between 8-10 weeks.
How long does the hair last?
Quality hand-tied hair will last on average 6-12 months. With proper styling care and the proper use of professional hair products, you can easily get one year out of your hair. IBE usually requires a move up about every 8 weeks. Some clients like 7, some clients are fine with 10 weeks. The hair will last anywhere from 6-12 months. This is quite a range because a lot depends on you! Over brushing or too much heat can cause wear and tear on your hair. But if you take amazing care of it, it can last quite a long time!
